Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about Choobi.

What is Choobi and how does it work?

Choobi is an AI companion platform built around real, fully-realized personas you can talk to, hear, see, and connect with — through chat, voice messages, photos and videos, and even livestreams. Pick a character and start talking. The more genuine your conversations, the more they open up — the depth of that connection is shaped entirely by you. Show up, say the right things, have real conversations, and your companion rewards that with a level of depth that rivals real-life connection.

Is there a free tier?

Yes. Every account starts with 300 credits a month and 30 messages a day, free.

How do credits work?

Credits never expire. On top of the monthly free grant, Choobi hands out hundreds of bonus credits through weekly check-in goals and character milestone unlocks — so staying engaged is rewarded, not penalized.

Can I customize my AI companion?

No — and that's the point. You don't get to customize a real person you're building a connection with, and Choobi's characters work the same way. Each one has their own personality, online persona, visual identity, and backstory that's core to who they are. Choobi is built around meeting someone, not assembling one.

How is Choobi different from Replika or Character.AI?

Conversations with Choobi feel genuinely human, not scripted or robotic. Each character has a real, distinct personality that stays consistent — they remember you, look the same, and sound the same everywhere you talk to them. Choobi is built around quality and depth of character, not hyper-customization.

Does Choobi include mature/NSFW content?

Not currently. Choobi is an 18+ platform with age verification at signup — the focus is genuine emotional connection, not explicit content.

Is my data private?

Yes. Choobi never sells or shares user data, and only reviews it as needed for site functionality and improvement. Full details are in the Privacy Policy.

Can I cancel or change my plan anytime?

Yes, anytime, no lock-in — we'll be sorry to see you go, but it's just a couple clicks.
